We came to France to celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary. We were looking for a celebrant to officiate our vow renewal ceremony. We are Catholics and wanted something personal and spiritual.
When we met Ariane, we immediately had the feeling she would be the right person. She’s sensitive, elegant and professional. She asked a lot of questions – which initially troubled us a bit, but finally we understood that she needed all these elements to narrate our story. At last, she brought all the soulful significance we were looking for. We wished for an unique and special wedding ceremony, but we felt helpless. We didn’t know how to do it. And that’s when we met Ariane. Together, we created our own wedding ceremony that exceeded all our expectations. Without exaggeration, all our guests were so blown away and touched by the emotion, joy and love that radiated during the ceremony.
And Ariane was at the center of it all. She really took the time to get to know us. At no time did we doubt as we put our trust in her. She always gave us her flexible advices without trying to direct anything. It was very pleasant to be able to exchange freely in this creative process. She helped us write our own vows. She honored our deceased without making the moment heavy, but full of light. Her involvement in guiding our loved ones in their beautiful speeches greatly relieved them from stress.
When many officiants read their text, Ariane gazes of the whole assembly. Her storytelling embarks you in an emotional journey, so much so that you go from laughter to tears in a dew second. She has a real talent as an orator, switching from French to English with disconcerting ease. With her incredible singing, rituals and special aura, Ariane brings a whole spiritual dimension.

Right now, I’m visualizing the whole ceremony in my head and I hope I’ll never forget it.
What Ariane did was simply incredible, and words can hardly describe the emotions I felt at that moment. She gathered our guests together on a level of universal wisdom. She combined my African heritage with French culture with rare elegance and in such a romantic way that she brought tears to many eyes. It was a moment of enchantment and humanist inspiration for all those present. Blending Kora, Djembe with the cello, her singing was cradled by these instruments reflecting our two cultures.
