Welcome! I am Ariane. I live in France between Provence and Paris and work internationally as a French officiant and crossover singer. For over ten years now, I have had the real honour and privilege, as a French celebrant singer of working with couples and families to celebrate and recognise the special moments in life. Being your officiant singer is my purpose.

My inspiration
Ceremonies are powerful and sacred rituals which offer us the opportunity to pause and reflect. They can inspire feelings of joy and love, of hope or remembrance. Also, they allow us to celebrate happy times and reflect on the difficult times that have brought us to where we are on life’s journey. Undoubtedly, they can prompt us to consider our desires for the future.
I consider myself very lucky to have such a magical profession. I love life and I love people and I take great pleasure in helping my clients shape and realise beautiful and inspiring ceremonies.
Love and music go hand in hand
Music is also my passion. My singing is an important part of the ceremony I create with you as your French celebrant singer. Through my singing, it’s my intention to celebrate your love and commitment with joy, emotion and beauty. I enjoy working closely with my couples to select the perfect music to enchant, uplift and touch the hearts of all those present. I am classically trained but equally at home singing a beautiful aria as I am singing gospel, jazz or a modern classic.
Since my childhood, I have felt a deep connection to the spiritual, the sacred and the power of symbols. For centuries, singing has been a key part of sacred traditions and rituals in all cultures. This cultural heritage is, for me, an infinite source of inspiration.

From world of finance to opera solo career …
A piano player from the age of seven, I pursued classical studies at school and university (Latin and ancient Greek) and then went on to study finance and opera singing. I already had five years of professional experience behind me as a chartered accountant and auditor, and significant experience as a semi-professional opera singer when, 15 years ago, I decided to become a professional solo opera singer. In my career, I have sung on the major national classical stages (operas, theatres), in the most beautiful cathedrals, as well as at the more popular Olympia in Paris with Chico and the Gypsies!

My activity as a wedding lyric singer started 20 years ago for friends. Later, I became a French celebrant singer for secular ceremonies following the request of a wedding planner friend. From my very first ceremony, I felt I had found my home. It was a real ‘coup de foudre’, or love at first sight, as it were, for the symbolic ceremony. I subsequently trained to be certified as a secular celebrant at the International Wedding Institute.
Beyond my activity as a professional French celebrant & crossover singer, I as well have proven experience on stage, of event management, project management and project organisation, and of coaching.

My philosophy
I am fascinated by human behavior and human culture. I like the authenticity, sincerity and emotional proximity which this profession brings forth. Consequently, I am so happy to be your confidant, your accomplice and bring you satisfaction as a French celebrant singer in helping to make this magic moment materialize.
It is a joy and an honor to accompany and share with you emotional moments as strong as those experienced at your wedding, the baptism of your baby, or the funeral of a grandparent. Life is a cycle, and it has actually happened that I have officiated, within one same family, at the wedding ceremony, the baptism of the baby and the funeral of the grandmother.
Each ceremony is a source of enrichment and also confirmation that being a singer and marriage celebrant is part of my life’s mission.
My process
My role is to get to know you in order to create, to write, to orchestrate, to stage and to celebrate your ceremony in your image by adapting it to the framework you have chosen.
I will accompany you on the basis of a structured interactive and intuitive joyful coaching session (your french celebrant’s playful questionnaires, meetings, zoom sessions): we will create your ideal ceremony and prepare you emotionally to experience this event both joyfully and with serenity too.
